Web Application for Graphical Visualization of Geospatial Time Series
Web Editor for GPX Data
Hendrych, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a web editor, which will allow the user to view and edit their recorded routes in GPX format. For each route, the user can adjust the position of the selected point, add another or delete an individual point or a selected group. The client part of the application is written in Javascript using the React library. The server part is implemented using the Django framework and the GeoDjango module. Communication between these parts is provided by the Django REST framework. The results of this work allow users to easily edit their tracks in a web browser.
Management Application for Touristic Routes in OSM
Švaňa, Petr ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with alalysis of Czech Tourist Club hiking routes and checking their data validity in OpenStreetMap internet map source. In the resulting application has user at his disposal visialized OpenStreetMap data and implemented gadgets to simplify the control of these data. First, introduction to this topic is discussed including information about both data model, that OpenStreetMaps uses, and mapping of the tourist trails. Second, analysis of current ways for map data checking along with development of the application, that can bring these controls into practice are concerned. In following chapters, created implementation of the application with detailed manual can be found.
Weather and Aeronautical Data on Map for Airplane EFB
A Set of Web Tools for Geo-Location System
Bečka, Petr ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of the thesis is to develop a set of web tools to visualize results and exploit functionality of geo-location system LOCATE. Obtained informations could be showen in web map and digital terrain model. For interaction with user is prepared interface to upload photos. Furthermore was developed a method, witch allows to customize appearance and functionality of visualization means.
Interactive Guide for Zoological Gardens
Macháček, Martin ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
Even though a large number of zoological gardens fall under CSZOO union, there has been no unified way of presenting and managing this information. This project solves this problem by creating a unifying information system for any zoological garden, together with a modern mobile application, which serves as a pocket guide and a clear source of information from this system. In addition to functionalities such as events calendar, species, exhibitions or announcements, an interactive map is a very important part. Implemented system together with public stateless API is based on the Lumen framework. Mobile application is cross-platform and is based on Cordova technology. In order to establish certain form of frontend architecture, both the information system web interface and mobile application use framework Vue.js. Interactive maps are implemented through library called Leaflet in combination with Mapbox technologies. The created solutions exist as basic building blocks for future expansions and development.
Mobile Application for Treasure Hunters
Skaličan, Robin ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was the design and implementation of a mobile application for devices with the Android operating system. The application intends to simplify the work of findings documentation for searchers with a metal detector. The goal is also to provide an easier way for further communication with archaeologists about the findings. A request was created to extend the thesis assignment by a web application on meetings with archaeologists. The web application displays the recorded data from the mobile application and simplifies any further communication with the data author. This data is stored in the Firebase Realtime Database. The mobile application implements a map view using the Leaflet library and functions based on user requirements. Java and JavaScript programming languages were used for most of the implementation. The result of my work is composed of two applications working with the shared database.
Web-Based Image Annotation Tool
Dvořáček, David ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the creation of web tool for image data annotation. The theoretical part specifies the application, its design and functionality. The practical part deals with the implementation of the web tool for image data annotation such as point, line, rectangle, polygon with focus on modularity and easy extensibility of the tool for various types of annotations and implementation of image manipulation and transformation functions. For practical part of this work was used library Flask using Python, HTML, Javascript. The tool was created and developed iteratively.
Estimation of the Probability of Occurrence of Persons in an Area
Koprda, Peter ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to implement application that creates estimation of the probability of occurrence of persons in an area from given map data. The estimation of the probability is displayed by using a heat map. Heat map is created by using defined tags which determine how many people are in the area. During the implementation map data from OpenStreetMap were used. The created application can be used during the planning of the electricity equipment construction, which can be life-threatening if people are close to the area of this equipment.
Data collection from Twitter
Kmeť, Juraj ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating application for data gathering from social network Twitter. Data is gathered in real time with variable length of gathering. Theoretical part describes social network Twitter as a client but also as a tool for data gathering. The bachelor thesis identifies limits which need to be respected during the creation of Twitter applications. Another topic of the thesis is PlanetLab network, which is well known mainly by the network researchers and developers of network applications. History of PlanetLab is captured within the second chapter and the difference between PlanetLab and other research networks. Practical part contains guide for application development in programming language Python. Process of the application disctribution to the PlanetLab nodes is enclosed as well. Last chapter analyses data collection and maximum speed of data gathering in the created system.
